From Paris
Take the TGV from Paris Gare de Lyon to Chambéry–Challes-les-Eaux. The journey is around 3 hours direct.
From Lyon Airport
Lyon Airport has its own railway station, Lyon Saint-Exupéry TGV, located a short walk from the terminal. You can either:
- Take a direct TGV/TER service to Chambéry; the journey takes about 1 hour, or
- Travel via Lyon Part-Dieu station if required.
From Geneva Airport
Take a train from Genève-Aéroport station to Chambéry–Challes-les-Eaux, typically via Geneva Cornavin. The journey is about 1h30–2h.
A local TER also runs from Chambéry to Pontcharra.
Driving to Chambéry
By car
The A41 runs straight to Chambéry. If you are hiring a car, the nearest rental desks are at Lyon and Geneva airports. The drive from Lyon takes about 55 minutes and from Geneva about 1 hour. Please contact your hotel directly for parking availability if you are staying in Chambéry.
